Happy 3rd Year Anniversary to us!
Just got back from Stowe, VT, where we celebrated our 3rd year anniversary. It was a perfect getaway and a good taste of winter wonderland (what Christmas should look like!)

Alex and Sky in PCB
Kristin, Phil, & Alex came to visit us from Virginia a couple of weekends ago. It was so nice to see them again, and watch our girls play together (just as we did as little girls!)

Football season is among us...
...Go 'Noles! We have attended all home games so far, and even travelled on the team plane to the OU game (thanks, Marc & Pam!) Although the loss was a big bummer, we still enjoyed the experience and FSU company. Skylyn has come to all of the home games with us and has become a "true 'Nole" fan. She's 22 mos. and loving life, even school!

End of Summer...
Two weekends ago, we spent some much needed quality time with Jess, Justin, and Brooke. We appreciate you coming to see us, and thanks for making the long trip! This past weekend, we took Skylyn to her friend, Rees, birthday party. Elmo and cup cakes were the highlights, according to Sky. Also, Skylyn started "big girl" school this week. We think that she really likes it and has already made a lot of new friends. She has come back graded as "great day" on her daily report card all week, so let's just hope she keeps it up until she graduates from college!

Trip to the Holy Land!!
From July 7-17, we headed to Israel and Jordon for a Holy Land tour. It was awesome and something that everyone needs to experience! We started at Tel Aviv and headed up the coast to Caesarea, then over to Mt. Carmel, Megiddo (Armageddon), Nazareth, Cana (where we renewed our vows), and then stayed in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee. We also went up to Capernaum, Caesarea Philippi, Mt. Beatitudes, and got baptized (again) in the Jordan River. We then crossed the Jordan border and stayed at a hotel in Jordan on the Dead Sea. We took a side trip down to Petra, one of the 7 Wonders of the World, and another "must do"! We headed back into Israel and visited Masada, Qumran, Jericho, Bethlehem, and of course, Jerusalem.
The only thing missing from this trip was our daughter, who we tried to communicate with on a regular basis via skype, emails, and phone. Thank you to CeeCee and Grandpy for watching her while we were gone, and a big thanks to Kacci for skyping at daycare! We couldn't have done it without you!

Lots to celebrate!
Two weeks ago, we celebrated with Kelly's grandad and his army reunion buddies from WWII. There are only 7 guys remaining from the group, but a lot of close friends and family showed up to show their support and appreciation. Afterwards, we hung out with the Oliphant family, which included most of Kelly's grandparents 13 great grandchildren! It was so good seeing everyone and we had the best time.
This past weekend, we celebrated Steve's graduation, where he received his master's degree. It's been a long road, but well worth it! And yes, Skylyn made it through the entire ceremony. She was so proud of her daddy!

Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek
Last week, we headed to the Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek, CO to celebrate Steve's birthday. We missed Skylyn very much, but had a great time skiing, eating, and just hanging with our friends...
