Over Thanksgiving, we were able to spend some quality time with family and friends. Skylyn stayed busy by travelling to Jacksonville and watching the FSU/UF game on tv with CeeCee while mom and dad sat through the game in the rain. Another highlight was getting to see Kristin and her parents. Kristin's pregnant and is expecting a little girl in May! We're so excited that Skylyn and ?? will grow up to be friends, just like our parents planned for us!

Skylyn's 1st week home...
It's been a busy one! Skylyn has already met so many friends and family that will become a huge part of her new life. Thanks to everyone for all of the love, support, and food that you've been providing. Skylyn's definitely training us on our new way of living...we're trying to catch on to her schedule that she's planned for us. So far, so good!
Skylyn Patricia Conner has arrived...
Kelly is the one that keeps this blog updated...but since she's warn out right now, and since i just downloaded some pics, i thought i would try my first post (can you tell by the slideshow i created?). Skylyn Patricia Conner was born yesterday Nov. 3rd at 7:41pm weighing in at 6.11 and just over 19 inches long. So far she's been a perfect baby and is so gorgeous, especially with her super long eyelashes. Mom did an amazing job bringing her into this world. We love our addition to this family. Thanks to all our family and friends for their support during this time.

Day of Induction...40.5 weeks
Well, 4 days past due and we're heading to the hospital at 8pm. They'll start the induction tonight and continue through to the morning, if necessary. It's been a LONG road, but will be well worth it once we meet Skylyn, our new boss. Wish us luck and hope to have an update very soon!!!!!

Baby Skylyn as of 33.5 weeks...
We had the best ultrasound today b/c the technician decided to accidentally push the 4D button - oops! We saw our baby girl moving around, sucking her thumb, open her mouth and eyes, and even suck on her toe. It was a great experience and is becoming more and more real every day...She currently weighs 4 lbs, 13 oz. and is around 17 inches long, which is in the 45th percentile. Sounds like all is still going very well and we're right on track! We have another Dr. appt. in two weeks, and will then go every week after that. In the meantime, we're just staying busy cheering on the 'Noles!

Many thanks to our family and friends for all of the wonderful gifts we've received for Skylyn! We feel extremely lucky to know that Skylyn will be loved by so many! And yes, we ended up having the Tallahassee shower in the middle of Tropical Storm Faye, which actually turned out better than we thought, so thanks to all of you who braved the storm with us!

Baby Skylyn as of 28 Weeks:
Skylyn currently weighs 2.5 lbs and is 15 inches long, which is just under the 50th percentile. She's staying very active and doesn't seem to skip a beat in the womb! She had her eyes open and is constantly stretching, kicking, and punching when she's up. Our next check-up is in 3 weeks, so stay tuned for another update on our little girl...
